Outney Meadow in Suffolk is a family owned caravan and camping site. Located within the Waveney Valley on the Norfolk-Suffolk border, the campsite boasts easy walking distance to the historic market town of Bungay, perfectly situated between the River Waveney and the Bungay & Waveney Valley Golf course.

The idyllic countryside setting sits adjacent to Outney Common and offers excellent walks and birdwatching opportunities with a meandering river looping around.

Outney Meadow Caravan Park is an ideal base to explore East Anglia's coastal towns, contrasting the Suffolk Heritage Coast and the quiet beauty of North Norfolk. Historic and cultural attractions of the city of Norwich and neighbouring market towns are within easy driving distance. Southwold, Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Norwich all have a bus service from Bungay.

The site consists of eight acres of parkland sitting on the banks of the River Waveney. There are 70 pitches with a mixture of electric and non-electric hook-ups. The park is open from March to October.

The River Waveney offers excellent fishing opportunities right from the site. Day tickets are available for just £5.

Canoeing

Hire a canoe and explore the River Waveney. Two, three and four-seater canoes available for half-day trips.

You can arrive from 11am on the day of your booking. Please do not arrive before this to ensure your pitch is free. Check-out time is 10:30am on the day of your departure.

Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome onsite. Dogs must be kept on a lead whilst onsite. There are signed dog walks on the adjacent Outney Common.

Yes, we have a mixture of electric and non-electric hook-up pitches. Electric pitch fees are £26 (low season) or £32 (high season) per night. See our prices page for full details.

Bungay town centre is within easy walking distance with a good selection of shops including a delicatessen, butcher, fruit and vegetable shop and a supermarket. Local pubs such as The Green Dragon and The Fleece offer good food. Bungay also has a museum, the Fisher Theatre, golf course, swimming pool and sports centre.

The park is open from March to October each year.
